Baker produces bushings, dowels and sleeves to your specifications on existing tooling, in inch or metric dimensions. To satisfy your requirements specify high or low carbon steel, stainless steel, or other materials in soft to spring temper. Various finishes are available.

Chamfered ends and interlocking seams are especially well-suited for installation in automated processes.

Seams can be straight or V-shaped, open or closed, according to your specifications.

Some advantages to these Baker dowel bushings and sleeves are:
  • Dowel bushings help locate bolts and protect brittle or softer material, such as rubber grommets in vibratory applications, from excess pressure when the nut is tightly torqued.
  • Dowel bushings and sleeves add strength to the I.D. of plastic wheels and provide wear resistance.
  • Dowel bushings assist in locating bolts and provide additional strength to the assembly.
  • Hollow dowels accurately align components easing installation of bolts.
